Staining the deck....

The weekend of August 8th, we hadn't sold the house yet, so we thought why not stain our deck, since it really needed it. These are some photos of before, during, Sydney playing and after. The weather was perfect and oddly, we actually had a good time doing this. Maybe it was because it was the satisfaction of completing such a large task. A huge thanks to my mom too, for coming up and helping us.

Another fun fact - the very next day we got the offer on the house that we accepted. :)

Our neighbors have this hill that Sydney LOVES running up and down
While Daddy and Grandma was power washing the deck, Sydney and I did some finger painting
and walking like an ant
and playing in the pool....she was already wet from the hose, no sense in changing her :)
Boy, this is fun!

Sunday - staining
Almost done with one side of the deck....notice the difference. It turned out great!!
I had an after shot, but accidently deleted it....bummer. I will post it later!
