Our New Home

Finally.....here are some pictures of our new home. I took most of these during our inspection. When the time comes that we actually have a free weekend (which we haven't had since we moved in), I hope to get a lot more unpacked and things organized...at that time I will take some new pictures to show everyone how we have made it our own. Enjoy!

Looking up into the living room from the landing
Looking down from the living room to the landing (Eryn & Jim) - the door with the windows goes out to the garage. (YEAH - I finally have an attached garage...I LOVE IT!)
My very small kitchen - this is looking in from the living room, right at the top of the steps
(which actually has more storage space than I originally thought...but still not enough space.)
Dining area
View from dining area looking into still small kitchen - we plan on remodeling within a year to year and a half. Until then I will dream....
Living room looking towards kitchen and dining area
Living room looking out to the backyard (not our chair...but we got the couch) - the hardwood floors is the original flooring, the entire upstairs is hardwood, except the kitchen and bathroom. As much as I love the hardwood flooring, we really need to get some area rugs....its a little echoey.
Hallway from the living room - 1st door on right - bathroom, 2nd door - linen closet, end of the hallway - our bedroom (Sydney's room is on the left, right across from the linen closet..far cry from the old house, where our room was in the basement and hers was upstairs).
This is from the night we moved in - our room. This is where I found Sydney while we were putting her room together.

Sydney's room

Upstairs bathroom (We have another full bath downstairs, but no picture)
Upstairs linen closet
Family room downstairs with walk out to fenced in backyard

Laundry room - with the oldest dryer I have ever seen

Wow, I love your new house and it sounds so much more practical now that you have Sydney!

The fenced in backyard looks beautiful. I can't wait to be sitting on your deck drinking margaritas....hint hint!
