And just because...this picture was taken on her 5th birthday when we took her to the MOA for lunch at Rainforest Cafe and then on to some rides. I love this girl!

Quick Funny
Yesterday as we were on our way home from daycare, Sydney and I were talking about this little boy, Ryan, at daycare. Sydney likes Ryan. I asked her if she was going to marry Ryan, she said "yes", but that Ryan said he was going to marry someone else. She didn't think that was very nice. Then she proceeded to tell me "mommy, I can't find a husband". And she was so serious. It took all I had to not laugh hysterically. I just told her that she has plenty of time to worry about that.
Over Half Way
I'm technically 22 weeks and 2 days along in this pregnancy. I'm feeling pretty good, aside from some of the normal aches and pains. We had a dr. appt yesterday and everything was great. The heartbeat was 150...and very loud. So awesome! I'm feeling the baby more and more, which is probably one of the coolest and weirdest things about pregnancy. We've set our delivery date for 7/20 at 9am (at the hospital by 7am) as long as everything proceeds along like it should until that point.
We had our 2nd level ultrasound on 3/4/11 (19 weeks) and everything was great! Such a relief! We didn't find out what we are having (just like we didn't with Sydney), however; I did have tech lady put it on a piece of paper in a sealed envelope. I did this because Jim really wants to know what we are having...but I don't want to know. BUT...I have told him that he can look in the envelope, but he can't tell me nor can he tell anyone else. He doesn't like that because he knows he would slip up in front of me. There are very few surprises in life....so I want this one to be a surprise. Plus...I need something to keep me going in those final weeks when I am super uncomfortable. Sometimes I think it's a girl...other times I think it's a boy. All along with Sydney I really felt like she was really going to be a boy, that is up until the last minute at delivery. So really...I have no idea what we are having. We can't agree on any names. :) Sydney would like Sarah or Sam (those are neighbor kids names across the street). They are nice names, but neither I would like. It's a good thing the name is a secret again to everyone..because apparently it's a secret to us too. ha!
This weekend my dad, Lori, Brad, Jessie and Brianna are coming up. We are heading to the MOA to the redesigned "Sea-Life Minnesota" (previously Underwater World). We're excited to go, as we've never been. We may check out Build-A-Bear to while we are there, would be fun to take Brianna for the first time and Sydney always loves it. Then it's off to the hotel for some swimming, visiting and pizza. Should be a great time.
Have a great weekend!

Christmas card 2010
Now that I have mailed our Christmas cards out for the year, I will share on the blog. For the first time ever, I only sent cards to people that sent us cards, THIS YEAR. I had just enough cards (50), that I didn't need to order anymore. It felt good doing this. I felt like some people were sending cards us cards out of obligation, me included. I did make a few exceptions for family, but otherwise I stuck to my guns on this one. :)
I'm so excited about our Christmas card this year! Thanks to Shutterfly, I was able to get 50 of these for FREE!! And they will be shipped to me for FREE too. That means I paid nothing for them. Such an amazing offer by Shutterfly. Without that offer there is no way we could have afforded these for our card this year. I saved $157.49. Thank you doesn't suffice!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!! May your holiday season be blessed with many happy memories! I know ours will be!
