Over Half Way

I'm technically 22 weeks and 2 days along in this pregnancy.  I'm feeling pretty good, aside from some of the normal aches and pains.  We had a dr. appt yesterday and everything was great.  The heartbeat was 150...and very loud.  So awesome!  I'm feeling the baby more and more, which is probably one of the coolest and weirdest things about pregnancy.  We've set our delivery date for 7/20 at 9am (at the hospital by 7am) as long as everything proceeds along like it should until that point.

We had our 2nd level ultrasound on 3/4/11 (19 weeks) and everything was great!  Such a relief!  We didn't find out what we are having (just like we didn't with Sydney), however; I did have tech lady put it on a piece of paper in a sealed envelope.  I did this because Jim really wants to know what we are having...but I don't want to know.  BUT...I have told him that he can look in the envelope, but he can't tell me nor can he tell anyone else.  He doesn't like that because he knows he would slip up in front of me.  There are very few surprises in life....so I want this one to be a surprise.  Plus...I need something to keep me going in those final weeks when I am super uncomfortable.  Sometimes I think it's a girl...other times I think it's a boy.  All along with Sydney I really felt like she was really going to be a boy, that is up until the last minute at delivery.  So really...I have no idea what we are having.  We can't agree on any names. :)  Sydney would like Sarah or Sam (those are neighbor kids names across the street).  They are nice names, but neither I would like.  It's a good thing the name is a secret again to everyone..because apparently it's a secret to us too. ha!

This weekend my dad, Lori, Brad, Jessie and Brianna are coming up.  We are heading to the MOA to the redesigned "Sea-Life Minnesota" (previously Underwater World).  We're excited to go, as we've never been.  We may check out Build-A-Bear to while we are there, would be fun to take Brianna for the first time and Sydney always loves it.  Then it's off to the hotel for some swimming, visiting and pizza.  Should be a great time.

Have a great weekend!
