Renaissance Festival

Jeff & Christy
Jim & Michelle
Puke & Snot...hilarious!!!!
This fairy was beautiful...this picture doesn't do her justice!

On Sunday, Jim, Christy, Jeff & I went to the Renaissance Festival! We had alot of fun checking out all the unique stores and food stands. We also watched a couple shows and really enjoyed Puke & Snot. The weather was a little warm...who would have thought the end of Sept and first day of fall would be 80 plus degrees out...but there was a nice breeze, so that helped! We bought one thing and of course it was for Sydney...it is a super cute skirt like thing...she is really starting to like princesses and that is what it is like! She loved it!! I will try to snap a picture sometime this week and post it for everyone to see. We also enjoyed the people watching...definitely a great place to do that!!

Sydney spent time at the park

Sydney and daddy spent Thursday together and they went to the new park by our house!! Sydney loves to swing and I'm told she had a great time at the park playing on everything else too!
This is a famous way that Sydney likes to sit or sleep...this time she was watching Clifford while waiting for daddy!
On Saturday we went to the park and Sydney had so much fun....check out the concentration on her face going down the steps! We went down the slide a couple of times together and then she finally went down all by herself! I didn't get any pictures of it though...she was watching for me on each curve of the slide...but the smile on face at the bottom was great...she was thrilled!!!

We didn't have daycare on Thursday or Friday this week...so on Thursday she spent the day with daddy...I will say since Jim has been laid off Sydney has become quite the daddy's girl...even more than she was before! :) (On a side note about Jim, since he was laid off when his company was bought out...he finished his resume on Friday and is ready to get it out to all his leads! Good luck honey!!) On Friday she spent the day with Auntie Christy and had a blast (they both did)! On Saturday we also went out for dinner for Grandpa Jagow's birthday with the entire family! Sydney had a great time seeing all of her cousins (she loves her cousin Shelby..she even talks about her at random times). She wasn't all that thrilled to sit in her chair though...we had to rely on bribery...thankfully there was a gift store down the hall (we were at the MOA) and we were able to get stickers. And it worked...monkey stickers were the trick!! On Sunday she spent the day with grandma & grandpa Jagow while we went to the Renaissance Festival. When we picked her up she had mastered saying "Happy Birthday"....we had worked on it in the morning when Uncle Terry stopped over (and today is his b-day) and she tried telling him. It was too cute when she came up to me after we had been there for a while and in her cute little way she said "happy birtday"...that is exactly how she said it!

Me & Barb at Chino Latino's

Mindy & I each had "The Happy Ending" Martini..YUM, YUM! This martini was so good I would be willing to have one again.
On Saturday night my co-workers and I had an outing..we went to Mindy's place, Keith's place and Barb's place...then on to Chino Latino's. If was fun to see each other's homes as we have all heard about them so much...and each place was so nice! We didn't stop at my house, since our house is still on the market and it just isn't decorated how I would want to show it off. When the day comes that we finally sell our house and get a new one....then I will have everyone out to our place for a night of fun! We all had a great time and can't wait for the next outing!

Sydney - fun & cheese

Just hanging out, while waiting for grandma at Home Depot - Cheese!!

Cheese!!

Having fun playing in a box...if only I could lay down in it! haha! Why do we pay money for toys when boxes are more fun? :)

Two Sydney's???"I'm riding my duck!" Quack, Quack!

Sydney had a fun but normal week for a little girl! She enjoyed her days at daycare with Emma and Donovan and evenings at home with mom & dad. The weather was a little cooler..yeah, fall is here (almost)...and we have already had our first round of colds at our house. I had it first and then Sydney had it this week...bummer! Plus she had 3 eye teeth coming in..poor thing...but she was quite a trooper!
