A little background on Mindy and me....we met back in 6th grade (yes, that was a very long time ago...ha!) and we always joke that at first neither one of us liked each other for whatever reason (we can't remember)..but thankfully that changed and we became the best of friends. Fast forward through the school years...her family moved to Utah the year after we graduated, she met Blaine, married shortly there after and they have 5 beautiful children! For many years I was blessed with the chance (flying perks at MLT) to go visit them every year. This gave me the opportunity to get to know their children and spend some quality time with the family. When I got married in 2004, Mindy and family made the trip back to MN (the first time for her in 12 years) and she was my matron of honor, Garrett (her oldest son) was our ring bearer and Megan & Rachel (her two older girls) were our guest book attendants. I was so happy they were all able to make it back for this important time in my life and share in the memories. The last time I was able to see them was fall of 2005, when I went out to Utah for work and was able to go out early to spend the weekend with them. While out there for this visit, Mindy and I were able to sneak away for dinner alone...this was so much fun! We hadn't been out, just her and I, in years....I love her family dearly, but getting to spend this time with her was awesome. We laughed so hard (which isn't hard to do when you spend time with Mindy) and enjoyed a great evening out. Oh the memories from that night! :)
I haven't seen the Harmon's since 2005, but we have managed to connect a few times throughout the years, either by phone or e-mail. We can always manage to pick right up where were left off the last time. I miss her and the family and look forward to the next time we can see each other. Love ya Harmon's! :)

I've gotta comment on your blog about my blog. You are too kind. I cracked up reading it. I'm just as thrilled as you that we have stayed fantastic friends all of these years. I have enjoyed so much seeing the pics of you/Jim and especially Sydney. Even though I'm nearly a million miles away, I feel like a know that little beautiful little girl of yours. Megan and Rachel have started their own blogs in just the past little while. Check them out. I'm going to add Megan's blog to my list of Blogs. Rachel's is Rachel rocks or something like that.
