Wow! We have been busy! We have been on the go all summer...but loving every minute of it! The following pictures are just snipits of what we have been up too. Enjoy!
Dan Patch Days - June 21st
Sydney enjoyed (throughly) her first pony ride at the Dan Patch Days in Savage! She's riding the horse in style...hat and shades! You look good sweetheart!

My Birthday! - June 27th
I love my birthday and I just hope that Sydney loves her's as much as I do! I don't hesitate in reminding people when it is getting close...as if they have forgotten or something. :) This year for my birthday Jim was out of town for a golf tournament...(yes, he checked with me before saying yes and I said it was fine....but he can't make it a habit. :)) He suggested that I go to Austin on my birthday..."what, are you kidding me?"...no. So, I invited my mom up instead. I really wasn't planning to do anything...but my very good friend Christy, couldn't believe I wasn't going to do something...that is so not like me! "Well, I suppose I could go out to dinner...do you want to join us?" So, out to dinner all of us went...my mom, Sydney, Christy and I. We had a wonderful meal at Champps...and my mom paid for it! (Thanks again, Mom!) Back up to the morning...we had talked about my birthday all week (it was on a Friday)...and the morning of my birthday, Sydney woke up and remembered without either of us saying anything...she said, "it's your birthday mommy, happy birthday!" And as I was leaving the house...she told me happy birthday again, but then was all serious and said "you have to blow out candles". Why, yes, I do. (so sweet...that totally made my day!) I wasn't really planning on getting a cake for home...but how could I deny her that. We didn't get a cake that night (we would wait until Jim got home on Sunday to help us celebrate...nothing like dragging the celebration out...ha!). When she woke up from her nap on Saturday she told me that we needed to get candles...purple ones (she knows that is my favorite color). Definitely couldn't deny her that either....we were able to find 4 purple candles...that was plenty (short 31...but who needs that many candles). On Sunday when Jim got home we had cake (I really wouldn't recommend giving cake to a kid at 7pm at night...she was awake until 10. haha!), and she sang "Happy Birthday" to me all by herself (it was too late to get the video camera...but it was so cute!) I had a great birthday and us girls had a great girls weekend! (Jim and I celebrated my birthday on July 12th and went to the Chanhassen Dinner theater!)

She was singing me "Happy Birthday"!

Wow, you have had a busy summer. Again, very cute pictures of Syndey, especially playing dress-up. Maybe you have a ballerina or actress on your hands??
